This billet aluminum bracket eliminates the breakage problem associated with Original Equipment or aftermarket replacement coil brackets. The coil is held in place with counterbored sockethead screws. Although designed for the 1965-E82 Big Twin 4-speed frames, this bracket will also retro-fit back to the 1948-64 frames when a 1965-84 style coil is used. Each bracket comes with spacers and screws to mount the coil flush with or away from the frame downtube, however, the installation of this bracket will not permit the use of any coil covers.
